Our Ideal Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are looking for a dynamic & passionate recruitment specialist who is looking for a new challenge and an exciting opportunity to advance their knowledge, skills and career in a great working environment. You will be involved in planning & implementing talent acquisition strategy for the team, conducting sourcing activities, designing & managing the recruitment and selection process while enabling a great candidate experience.

​​TheHouseMonk is now a team of 30 people and will grow to 100 people in the next 18 months. We are looking for someone to help us hire great talent and build a great candidate experience while doing so. 

What You’ll Do

  • Preparation: Handle the vacancy intake with the hiring manager, write job descriptions and create job alerts on various job boards
  • Sourcing: Source for great tech & non tech talent from various databases, social media & other sources while also checking the existing talent pool and keeping the stakeholders informed
  • Screening: Screen & shortlist profiles and conduct preliminary screening over the phone. Provide a realistic job preview to the shortlisted and try to find a good fit for them
  • Selecting: Maintain close contact with hiring managers and ensure timely scheduling of interviews 
  • Hiring: Perform reference checks and provide support to hiring managers and stakeholders in making a data-driven hiring decision
  • Experience: Maintain close contact with the selected candidates during pre-boarding. Check-in regularly during the onboarding to ensure smooth onboarding process and a great candidate experience
  • Employer Brand: Evangelize the referral program internally and build relationships externally to receive potential referrals. Build & maintain the careers site for better traction of applicants

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business,Human Resources or related field
  • 3-5 years of work experience in end to end recruitment
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office & familiarity with ATS tools
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
