Responsibilities:
- Timely closure of monthly books & reporting MIS to management.
- Vendor balance reconciliation & initiating vendor payment processing as per due dates.
- Responsible for managing various functions such as monthly closing, balance sheet reconciliations and P&L Analysis.
- Preparation of the budget ,financial forecasts and report variances.
- Accurate and timely completion and publishing of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements.
- Oversee payroll functions.
- Employee asset Management & company petty cash management.
- Verification of vendor invoices by matching with agreed terms in PO & contract ensuring that invoices are processed as applicable and discrepancies are communicated appropriately.
- Manage & be responsible for accounts payable, receivables, procurement, billing, etc.
- Being a key point of contact for other departments on financial and accounting matters.
- Report any troubling discoveries or suspicion of wrongdoing to the proper authorities.
- Adhere to the organization’s policies and procedures.
- Suggest changes or improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and cost reductions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Commerce or related field
- 4-6 years of relevant experience.
- Experienced with Quickbooks and Xero for book- keeping.
- Well versed with excel.
- Strong due diligence and confidentiality traits.
- Detail-oriented and analytical.
- Strong financial documentation and presentation skills.
